Description
Whether you’re a professional fabricator or in your garage building your own turbo kit, this is a simple but effective MUST HAVE! We utilize this tool in-house on almost every single turbo kit we build.
This tool is used to hang your turbo in your engine bay to check for fitment, try different locations/positions, and then hold in place to build your turbo support. Constructed out of 3/16″ steel with 1/4″ NPT threads on the end that will thread directly into the popular S300/S400 based turbo oil feed port or you can use the included 1/8″ NPT adapter to adapt to most common oil feed flanges. The top of the hanger has several notches that will allow you to easily level or tilt your turbo how you want it and they are deep enough for slipping to not be an issue but still be adjustable with the weight of the turbo hanging.
Works with your typical hydraulic engine hoist or an engine support bar that can be bought on Amazon or Harbor Freight for $70-80, which has two hooks and gives you the ability to hang two at the same time for twin applications. We also put a 1/2″ hole in it that could be used with threaded rod to hold two turbos in place as well (shown in pictures). Point being, you can get creative with these things!
